our story
LINGO Pre-K Academy is an early childhood center that provides monolingual and bilingual classroom environments to serve our students’ developmental stages through enriching opportunities.
LINGO started as a small summer Spanish immersion kindergarten preparation camp. After many years of dedication to perfect curriculum and professional development, Ms. Garza, the founder of LINGO Pre-K Academy, developed several programs, all with the same core idea of developing communication skills inside a classroom.
One of the essential things for children to learn at a young life stage is communication. More than learning two languages or more, we also believe in the importance of teaching daily life language; therefore, we focus on developing emotional language, social language, academic language as well as Spanish, and English through hands-on activities, creativity, play, and plenty of educational opportunities. Our curriculum incorporates all the academics subjects that students will see in their elementary education, such as language arts, math, science, art, music, and P.E. We focus on integrating all those subjects though fun activities thorough, play , music, books and interactive experiments.

History of our childcare center.
We are a young business family committed to education. Our founder was born in Laredo TX, a border city with Mexico. After experiencing the benefits of being bicultural and bilingual she saw the importance of building a school where culture and academics join to make the best and most joyful experience possible to enhance learning two languages and prepare students for future success.
